💡What drives me in design

At the core, I am most passionate about shaping perspective. The ability to frame information, guide understanding, and create meaning for a specific audience connects my curiosity across all creative and technical disciplines.

Design, especially UX, is the perfect medium for this. Beyond creating clean visuals, I am obsessed with using design as a vessel to connect people to an experience.

🔬Applying my passions to reseach

Currently, I am a graduate research assistant at Grady College's Digital Media Attention and Cognition Lab. At the lab, we utilize Tobii-Pro eye tracking software to gauge user behavior and interaction with various manipulated forms of media.

This semester, I will be leading my own study for the first time along with the help of a few other lab members. My study will be surrounding the topics of Explainable AI (xAI) and the outcomes of implementing several different "explainable" UI features in large-language models (LLMs) on user attention and interaction. Stay tuned for more details as the study continues on!

💡What drives me in design

As a kid, I dreamed of becoming a lawyer or a cinematographer—two seemingly different paths connected by a shared power: shaping perception.

Both professions take the same raw materials—evidence in a courtroom, light through a lens—yet craft entirely different narratives. How can two lawyers argue opposing truths from the same facts? How do cinematographers turn a shared reality into unique visual worlds?

At its core, my fascination isn’t just with storytelling or persuasion—it’s with shaping perspective through design. The ability to frame reality, guide understanding, and create meaning connects my curiosity across disciplines.

Design, especially UX, is the perfect medium for this. It turns needs into narratives, choices into clarity, and moments into lasting impressions. More than creating, it’s about crafting how the world is experienced.
