Overview

As a designer at Chptr, I am responsible for creating prototypes and building out user flows for new features in both the desktop website and mobile product through Figma.

I work directly with the Head of Product and the Head of Engineering to map out new user flows, create new screens, and update the design system.

My biggest projects thus far have included:

Mobile Home Screen Rebuild

The redesign updated the previous interface to align with current design standards and improve usability. It also introduced new functionality to address the growing user base.

Event Photo Albums

When a user taps upon the detail view of an event screen, there was previously no option to add photos. As an improvement, I created a process for users to upload photos and tag users to an album tied to an event.

Building off of existing UI, I added a feature where there is now a photo album attached to each event. All of the photo albums under an organization are nested within their documents on the home page. This feature build allowed for users to complete 6 new tasks:

1) Sort through photos by who is tagged.

4) Filter photos by who took them.

2) Tag or remove users from a photo.

5) Create photo albums.

3) Report inappropriate photos.

6) Upload multiple photos at once.

Vendor Application Process

The ability for a vendor to create an application currently only exists on the web, and the functionality needed a way to be integrated into the mobile app.

Through segmenting the existing lengthy application process into several smaller steps, I was able to allow users to:

Have the option to shortcut parts of the application if you are a preferred vendor.

Input payout methods after the application is complete.

Add vendor referrals.
